A large company employs maybe a half dozen inspectors, some new, some there for a while. You don’t know who you’re getting. But more importantly, the non owner inspector typically gets paid about 1/3 of the total fee. So he must do three inspections in one day to make the same as an owner operated inspection company, like mine, will make in one day. So he’s moving very fast to get done . He might spend one hour or so at the house, whereas I would spend three hours, or as long as necessary, to inspect the house. I only will do one in a day. Who do you think will do a more thorough inspection for you???
